MGM Mirage on Tuesday said it plans to take a $955 million third-quarter write-down on its CityCenter project in Las Vegas. Meanwhile, billionaire Kirk Kerkorian's investment vehicle said it "is exploring the possibility of strategic partnerships or other alternatives with respect to its investment in" the company.
